Founded in 2021, Big Canoe is a Michigan-based company dedicated to crafting 34-foot-long canoes that blend traditional design with modern materials. Each Big Canoe is 34 foot long and 62 inch beam. They are very stable unlike a traditional canoe. The Big Canoe weighs 600 lbs empty.

Inspired by the historical voyageurs’ canoes that once navigated the Great Lakes, these vessels are designed to accommodate up to 20 people, making them ideal for group activities such as team-building events and group trips. Big Canoes are available for purchase, lease or rent, offering a unique way to connect with water and nature.

Handmade in Lake City, Michigan, each canoe is constructed from oak and fiberglass, ensuring both durability and a classic aesthetic.
